Like a…ummmm

Ok this really isn’t first post. It is my first post for my new blog.
I hope to take a lighthearted look at life and offer up some laughs every now and then.
I want to explain the name. I do not mean to offend anyone.
Several weeks ago I joined a gym. If the Pillsbury Doughboy were female it would be me. Mr. Doughgirl has lost 90 pounds since May and I can not let him weigh less than me. One of the perks is that the gym has a tanning bed. I love to tan, not so I can get white but so I can take a nap during lunch and no one looks down on you.
Last week my BFF realized that we were the same shade. She was not having any of that. You would think that she would be happy being the skinny pretty one but noooo.  Sometime, somehow we began a war or words (texts really) about who was tanner. I am now determined that I am going to look like Beyonce. She is going for a darker look.  Not happy with that we began insulting the other one for being too pale. Numerous names were mentioned.
The next day she began again and I said that I was an albino in search of a tan. I decided that that would be a perfect name for a book or a blog and settled on a blog.
So this is the first post of the new blog. I hope you smiled because smiling is the best.
